The Fractional Microneedling RF treatment is the ideal technology for skin lifting, tightening and rejuvenation by utilizing minimally invasive micro-needles to deliver controlled RF energy directly into various depths of the skin.
It has had outstanding success for all skin types with very low risk of side effects and PIH – a key difference when compared to optical based treatments (IPL & Laser).
The RF energy is delivered through the focused tip of the micro-needles, leading to far-less trauma to the surrounding epidermis. This leads to significantly decreased discomfort and down time for the patient compared to conventional fractional lasers.
Fractional Microneedling RF system is an ideal technology for skin rejuvenation by applying preciously controlled RF energy directly into a certain depth of dermis with minimally invasive micro needles Such an ideal combination of micro needling plus RF energy reduces treatment time and recovery time significantly differentiating from fractional laser based treatment.
Moreover, fractional Microneedling RF system can be treated irregardless of skin type, even darker skin with low risk of skin burns and PIH comparing with other laser treatment.
The main advantages of RF microneedling is that it can offer similar results to ablative laser procedures, but with significantly less discomfort, downtime and risk for hyperpigmentation, especially in darker skin types.
RF microneedling stimulates new collagen and elastin in the deep layers of the skin, while by passing the epidermis, the most superficial layer, which is most prone to side effects and prolonged downtime.
Before RF Microneedling, when people wanted significant results, they needed to undergo aggressive skin resurfacing lasers or deep chemical peels. But lengthy recovery times made it difficult to fit these treatments in to their busy lifestyle. These treatments were also not safe for people with darker skin due to significant risk for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Unlike laser skin resurfacing or deep chemical peels, fractional RF can deliver the energy where it’s needed most, in the lower dermis, while minimizing the damage to the skin’s surface. This means minimal visible downtime, without sacrificing results.
Since RF Microneedling minimizes damage to the skin surface, Fractional Radio Frequency Microneedling is a better alternative to skin resurfacing lasers for improving the skin texture and skin tightening for dark skin or skin that is prone to scarring or hyperpigmentation.
We combined the Fractional Radio Frequency Microneedling with PRP (platelet rich plasma) for better results. The combination of RF Microneedling and PRP leads to a more substantial improvement in skin quality and texture. This combination also allows the procedure to treat a variety of concerns such as skin tightening and brightening, pore size reduction and stretch marks. It is also effective in scar treatment such as deep acne scars, ice pick scars, atrophic scars, burn and operation scars.
The easiest way to describe this treatment is as follows. Blood is extracted from the patient and is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the red blood cells, and create an incredibly rich plasma. This is injected back into the skin, working with the body’s natural response contracting and producing a new layer of collagen and has been scientifically proven to work 100% on all skin tones. The treatment has been used in cosmetic applications for years. Scientifically proven to work better than laser.
What are Platelets? Human blood is comprised of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The platelets are small, disk-shaped cell fragments in the plasma portion of the blood that work to facilitate clotting and tissue regeneration. They are known to secrete fundamental growth factors that initiate cell regrowth.
How is Platelet Rich Plasma made? A sample of the patient’s blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cell portion from the platelets and plasma components. Your blood is made up of 93% Red Blood Cells 6% White Blood Cells and 1% Platelets. The separated “solid” portion of the blood, or platelet rich plasma, contains approximately five to seven times the number of platelets found in normal circulating blood along with concentrated bioactive proteins that aid in wound healing.
What is a Vampire Facelift? A Vampire Facelift is a term that has become popular, and it describes what we’re doing when we use PRP for facial cosmetic improvement. The reason the term has become popular is because we take a blood sample, and then inject the blood back into the face (even though we remove the red cells which would cause excessive bruising). Blood contains PRP and we inject the PRP into the face, rather than the whole of the blood.
What Can Be Treated With A PRP Facial? The PRP Facial is effective for treating problems that result from a loss of volume in your skin, such as frown lines, wrinkles around your eyes, smile lines and nasolabial folds that extend from your nose to the corners of your mouth. The technology behind PRP Facials has also been proven effective for treating the neck, jaw, mid-face and cheek areas, as well as acne scarring.

How soon will I see results after a RF Microneedling PRP anti-aging treatment? RF Microneedling PRP Therapy will improve general texture and tone to any area the platelet and growth factor rich blood is being treated. For cosmetic application it is usually recommended to have a minimum of four treatments, one month apart. It is always best to wait a minimum of three months after the four treatment session before making a judgment on the results. Some patients will achieve further changes for three to six months after their final treatment.
At your scheduled appointment we will do a consult before starting the procedure. Your blood will be withdrawn and spun in a centrifuge to access your PRP. The area that is being treated is numbed for 40 minutes before starting if requested, we do not recommend numbing. We than use our specially formulated serum prior to starting the treatment. The whole face would take approximately 20-30 minutes to do depending on the area. PRP is being absorbed into the channels created by the microneedles during the treatment. Than a blood mask will be applied using your red blood cells that were separated during the centrifuge. Mask will stay on for 10 minutes, than wiped off. Immediately after the procedure, the face is warm, red and some times may have some swelling. The redness and possible swelling will subside within 24hrs after the procedure. There is no pain clients describe feeling of a sun burn. After a few days your skin may feel ruff like sand paper as the microneedle holes scab over. Do not scrub or pick at the dry spots, let them fall off naturally. This process is usually within 4 days the needle marks will disappear, and your face will start to feel tighter and more lifted.

During the procedure you will have a small amount of pain but less painful than traditional normal microneedling. Some areas around the face including forehead, nose, and upper lip will be more painful due to the thinness of skin. If you decide you want to use numbing cream, we will use the numbing cream, but just enough to minimize the pain because you still want the body to recognize that a micro injury is happening so your body immediately starts the repairing process, for a better result.
After the procedure it is normal to have redness in the areas that we have microneedled. Redness and very little if any swelling will subside in just a few days. Do not wash your face and areas that were microneedled for 4 hrs, your pores need to close and you want as much absorption of PRP as possible in this time frame. Do not apply makeup for 72hrs until your pores are closed. Skin may peel or flake on it’s own do not pull skin off, let your body naturally do it for you. Keep out of the sun until your skin is completely healed.
