Permanent makeup is a specialized technique used for permanent cosmetics which is sometimes referred to as micropigmentation. The process includes a free consultation, the application of pigment, and one follow-up visit. During the follow-up visit, the area is evaluated and touch ups are added where needed to perfect the look.
If you are ready to look your best from the moment you wake up in the morning to the time you rest your head, then it’s for you. If you’re a busy mom or career woman and don’t have the time to fill in your eyebrows every morning, it’s the perfect solution for you. If you dislike wearing makeup and would rather keep it natural but still have perfect eyebrows, lips, eye liner, then it’s definitely for you. It is also perfect for people who are very active, who do a lot of sports or go to the gym on a daily basis, because you don’t have to worry about your makeup getting smeared.
What is Powder Brows?
This technique is also known as Ombré Brows or Microshading. Unlike Microblading where hair line strokes are placed to create the brow and reshape, this technique is where the needle used draws dashes and dots. This semi permanent eyebrow make up creates a soft eyebrow pencil look. This is a technique that does last longer than Microblading. Great for all skin types and preferred for clients who have oily skin!
Just like Microblading, Powder Brows is a two appointment process. After each appointment you will have a 4 weeks process of healing. Powder brows will last up to 2-3 years depending on client lifestyle and after care process. As for Microblading, it can last 6 months to a year depending on client skin, life style, and healing process.
It is very similar to Microblading. Avoid make up, sun exposure, excessive sweating, swimming, and absolutely no skin care products on brows or near during healing process. After your session they will at first appear dark as well as look thicker due to the swelling. After the first 4 weeks the brow color will lighten about 50%. We advise our clients to avoid getting the brows wet during the scabbing and peeling process and may only apply antibiotic ointment (Aquaphor) keeping the brows moist during this process. This will not only help with the itchiness but protect the brows from any dirt and debris.

3
Don’t scratch, rub or pick at the area. Let it heal on its own. Scabbing or dry skin are normal and a part of the process, so let it heal naturally.

It is completely normal to experience some tenderness and swelling immediately following the procedure and for a few days after. The pigment will appear darker and more vibrant than how it will actually look when it is healed. Healing durations vary with each person but generally take 5 to 8 days. Other than slight sensitivity in the treated area, healing is normally painless.
Unlike other techniques that create flat, dense designs, Christina’s design’s are flawless, she specializes in Powder Brows and Brow Lamination. The result? Flawless yet natural-looking eyebrows. Fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps, fill in over-tweezed brows or, add a slight arch – results… a natural, undetectable fringe.
Brow Lamination is a non-invasive, perm-like hair treatment that involves styling the eyebrow hair into the desired shape, making it look polished and sleek. The process helps the eyebrow hair stay in place and helps unruly brows hold their shape. The Treatment can sometimes be paired with brow tint to give you the look of bushy brows. The chemicals used to achieve laminated brows are similar to those of a lash lift, being safe for application used on skin.
